Columbus Mac and Cheese Festival

The Columbus Mac & Cheese Festival is turning 5! This annual event benefits the adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer program at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center — Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James).

Cancer has become the top disease killer in young adults. While cancer survival rates have improved for other age groups, AYA survival rates have not improved nearly as well. Even when young adults beat cancer, several social issues await them: Survivors sometimes find it difficult to make friends, to date and to get careers and finances back on track.

This event has truly made an impact with more than $300,000 raised to date for AYA cancer research at the OSUCCC – James, which fuels groundbreaking discoveries that will lead to our ultimate goal of a cancer-free world.

The festival includes delectable samples of mac and cheese from local restaurants, live music entertainment, kids zone activities, raffle with prizes and a festive atmosphere!
